Michelle’s love of movement began at a young age through sport. Whether it be running, dance, golf, volleyball or skiing (just to name a few), Michelle loved it all and was most happy when recreating and playing.
It was not until an injury in 1999 that Michelle was sidelined and discovered Pilates. Initially, through Pilates rehabilitative work, she was able build strength and support in her injured ankle and return to the field. However, Michelle was hooked!
Realizing that to be a more functional athlete (and pain free person) she needed to balance her body and work on her functional support, Michelle took to Pilates like a duck to water! In 2008 she completed a multi-dimensional, physio based instructor training program. Since then she has taken various pathology courses, as well as gait and athletic training courses and workshops.
Michelle is experienced and comfortable in working with a wide range of clientele, including pre and post-natal, injury rehabilitation, supplementary athletic conditioning, geriatric mobility and weekend warriors alike.
Michelle loves what she does and her passion and attentiveness is evident to her clients!
